Accidents

Belleville, Ontario Belleville Police Service responded to 5 accidents on November 11th, 2013:

At 10:24 a.m. police attended at College St. E. at Cannifton Rd in relation to a tractor trailer that had struck a pole. There were no injuries.

At 11:51 a.m. police attended on Cannifton Rd N. in relation to a single vehicle accident. A car had swerved off the roadway and ended up on the rocks on an embankment. There were no injuries.

At 12:09 p.m. police attended at the intersection of Sidney St. and Cloverleaf Drive in relation to a 2-car accident. A 60 year old man was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign. One of the cars had to be towed. There were no injuries.

At 12:43 p.m. police attended at the entranceway to 150 Sidney St. in relation to a 2-car accident. A 22 year old woman was charged with failing to yield to traffic from private property. One of the cars had to be towed. There were no injuries.

At 5:34 p.m. police attended on North Park Gardens as a car had driven on top of a gravel pile in a construction zone. EMS treated the driver at the scene for minor injuries. A towtruck was required to safely remove the car from on top of the gravel pile.

Missing person

Belleville, Ontario On November 11th, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. police took a report of a missing Belleville man. The investigation has revealed that he was last seen leaving Lennox and Addington Hospital in Napanee at 4:00 p.m. (on Nov. 11th).

Missing is 81 year old Willi Kutsch He is described as a white male, 5'7 with a thin build and white hair. He is clean-shaven, and walks with either a cane or a walker

He was driving a maroon- coloured 2003 Chevrolet Impala with Ontario plates AYXN 105.

Any information on Kutsch or his vehicle can be forwarded to the local police agency.
