The Belleville Police Service responded to 67 calls for service between October 11th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and October 12th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

 

Man arrested for breaching recognizance.

Belleville, ON. On 11 October 2019, at 12:55pm, Belleville Police received a complaint at the court house regarding a male who was on conditions not to be in Belleville. Police located the male and he was arrested. Brant Maracle, 79, of Quinte West was charged with breaching his recognizance. He will appear in court on the 14th of November.

 

Multiple fights lead to multiple arrest.

Belleville ON, On 12 October 2019, at 2:10am Belleville Police received several calls regarding multiple fights in front of North Front Street businesses. Police attended, and a male and female were arrested for public intoxication relating to two separate matters. Police received no further calls to the area afterward.
