Attempt Auto Theft Belleville, Ontario.

At approximately 7:55Am on September 11, 2013 police were called to a commercial premise on Bell Blvd to investigate the attempt theft of a motor vehicle. Unknown person(s) attempted to steal a pick-up truck parked in the lot. The suspects were interrupted by the owner and fled the scene in a blue Dodge Dakota truck. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

Motor Vehicle Collisions Belleville, Ontario

During the past 24 hours, Belleville Police Service responded to 4 motor vehicle collisions at various locations in the city. Three of the collisions were minor with property damage only. At 2:15Am on the 12th of Sept. a collision occurred on Dundas Street West near Avondale Rd. The 57 year old female driver from Toronto lost control of the vehicle and struck a hydro pole demolishing the vehicle. The driver was charged with careless driving.
