Belleville Police Service responded to 52 calls for service from the 11th of March 2019 at 5:00 a.m. to the 12th of March 2019 at 5:00 a.m.


Belleville, ON – At 5:00 a.m. on the 11th of March 2019, police attended a west end residence with relation to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police arrested a male for breaching his probation by being with the female resident. Further investigation led to four more charges of breach of probation, a charge of uttering threats, and a charge of cruelty to animals with relation to allegations of the male punching a dog several times during the domestic. No injuries were sustained by the female or the dog and the 32 year-old Stirling male was held for a bail hearing on the 11th of March. Names are being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
