Impaired, Possession for the Purpose

Belleville, Ontario – Officers on general patrol stopped a vehicle on Harmony Rd near Highway # 37. The driver of the vehicle, 19 year old Matthew Boldrick of Belleville has been charged with Failing to Provide a breath sample and Possession for the Purpose under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date in August.

MVC Hit and Run - Bridge St East at Burnham St.

Belleville, Ontario - At approximately 03:20a.m., a smaller light coloured vehicle struck a hydro pole at the intersection of Bridge St East and Burnham St taking down some hydro wires. The vehicle continued north bound on Chatham St . Officers were not able to locate the vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or the driver is asked to contact Belleville Police at 613-966-0882.
