Accidents
Belleville, Ontario – On December 12th, 2013, police responded to 10 accidents in a six-hour time frame.
At 12:29 p.m. police responded to a two-car accident on Sidney St. south of Bridge St. A Belleville woman was charged with failing to yield from a private drive. There were no injuries.
At 1:43 p.m. police attended in a parking lot on Bell Blvd. in relation to a two-car accident. This accident was referred to the Collision Reporting Centre.
At 1:44 p.m. police attended at Sidney St. at Vermilyea in relation to a two-car accident. This minor accident was referred to the Collision Reporting Centre.
At 2:21 p.m. police attended on N. Front St. as a pedestrian had been struck by a car. The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Quinte Health Care and treated for minor injuries. The motorist was not at fault. The investigation is continuing.
At 2:28 p.m. police attended on Front St. at Campbell St. in relation to a two-car accident. A Belleville man was charged with failing to yield to traffic. One vehicle was towed from the scene. There were no injuries.
At 3:23 p.m. police attended on Bell Blvd. in relation to a two-car accident. A Belleville woman was charged with failing to yield to traffic. There were no injuries.
At 3:40 p.m. police attended at N. Front St. and College St. in relation to a three-car accident. A Belleville woman was charged with failing to yield to traffic. There were no injuries.
At 4:08 p.m. police attended in a parking lot on Bell Blvd. in relation to an accident where the other driver failed to remain at the scene. This investigation is continuing.
At 5:49 p.m. police attended in a parking lot on Bell Blvd. in relation to a two-car accident. This minor accident was referred to the Collision Reporting Centre.
At 6:24 p.m. police attended in a parking lot on S. Pinnacle St. in relation to a two-car accident. This minor accident was referred to the Collision Reporting Centre.
