Belleville, Ont. ? On July 13, 2007, two Trenton males were apprehended inside a vehicle at a Dundas St West. car dealers lot just before midnight and it appeared as if they had tried to remove several items. They also caused damage to the vehicle. The 17yr old and 19yr old were later released on a promise to appear charged with Mischief, attempt theft and possession of break in instruments.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
Belleville, Ont. ? On July 13, 2007, at approximately 5 a.m. police received a request for assistance from the Toronto Police Service as they were investigating a motor vehicle collision in Toronto where one of the vehicles involved had been abandoned. The registered owner of the vehicle was a resident of the City of Belleville therefore police attended the home of the owner to inquire as to the whereabouts of the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was surprised to hear of the accident involving her vehicle. It was determined the vehicle was stolen from her drive way sometime after 9:30 p.m. on July 12th. This incident is under investigation.
Belleville, Ont: On July 13, 2009, at approximately 11:00 a.m., police responded to a complaint of a Domestic Dispute on Pinnacle Street, Belleville. The female victim, who currently resides outside of Belleville, was attempting to make her way to the bus terminal when she was stopped in the down town area by a 23 year old Belleville male. It is alleged he grabbed the victim?s arm in an aggressive manner and started yelling at her. At the time the victim was pushing her daughter in a stroller. The suspect attempted to grab the victim purse away from her and made threats towards her. The suspect tried to remove the young child from the stroller and a witness in the area stepped in and assisted the victim. The 23 year old male was on previous conditions of non communication with this victim. He is charged with two counts of Assault, one count of Utter Threats, one count of Mischief, one count of Breach of Probation, one count of Fail to Comply with Conditions.
Belleville, Ont: On July 13, 2009, at approximately 11:20 p.m., police were dispatched to Charlotte Street regarding an intoxicated male. The male was located sitting in an apartment of two female residents who claimed to not know him. The suspect was covered in grass, leafs and dirt and appeared to have fallen in the bushes outside the building. After further investigation the 51 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection and subsequently charged with Intoxicated in a Public Place contrary to the Liquor Licence Act.
