Uttering Forged Document

Belleville, On – on 5 July 2018 Belleville Police responded to a complaint from a customer at a bank.  It was reported that someone had deposited fraudulent cheques and then withdrew funds.  Investigation of this complaint resulted in Ronald Trafford (38 years) of Norwood being charged with one count each of Uttering a Forged Document and Breach of Probation.  Trafford is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 9 Aug/18.

 

Break and Enter

Belleville, On – On 12 July 2018 at 0544 police attended at a residence on Bridge Street East in response to a complaint of a stolen vehicle and a residential break and enter.  It was reported that the culprits broke into a residence and stole vehicle keys, and a wallet and a purse.  At approximately 4:30 p.m. police located the stolen vehicle in the car park on Cannifton Road.  A male and a female were arrested in relation to the stolen vehicle and the break and enter.  Ashley McLean (35 years of Belleville) was charged with Break and Enter, Theft of Vehicle and 2 counts of Possession of Stolen Property.  McLean is scheduled to appear on 16 Aug/18.  The male is being held for in custody pending a bail hearing on 13 July 2018.

Belleville On – On 12 July 2018 police responded to reports of 2 break and enters.  The first was reported to police at approximately 07:38 and occurred at a business on Bell Blvd., the second occurred at a residence on N. Park Street at 10:30 p.m..  There are no suspects in either break and enter at this time.

Tools were stolen at the initial break and enter and jewelry and cash were stolen from the second residential break and enter.
