Intoxicated persons

 

Belleville, Ontario – On June 12th, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. officers attended on Lewis Street regarding a neighbour dispute. A 38-year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place and issued a provincial offence notice.

 

On June 12th, 2017, at 6:43 p.m. officers were summoned to the Via Rail Train Station as the eastbound passenger train from Toronto to Montreal was stopping in Belleville to have an intoxicated female removed. A 20-year old female was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. This female was a U.S. citizen out of California. She was charged accordingly.

 

 

Domestic Assault

 

Belleville, Ontario – On June 12th, 2017 at 11:55 p.m. police charged a 19-year Belleville man in relation to an assault that occurred on June 10th at a west end home. In that incident a woman was assaulted and her cell phone was damaged to prevent her from calling police. She was also prevented from leaving the residence. The male was charged with Domestic Assault, mischief to property, forcible confinement and breach of a peace bond. He will appear in court on June 26th, 2017. The woman suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
