Belleville, Ontario ? On 14 March 2012, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Church St. will be closed between Victoria Avenue and Patterson Street. This will allow for ongoing sewer repairs.

Disturbances

Belleville, Ontario ? On 13 March 2012, at 5:00 p.m., Police attended on a disturbance call on Janlyn Crescent. A 37 year old Belleville man was arrested at the scene. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

On 14 March 2012, at 1:25 a.m., Police attended on a disturbance call on Bradley Crescent. An 18 year old male who had been involved in several fights was arrested. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place. Police observed a teenaged girl staggering around with a 26 oz bottle in her hand. When the Officers moved in to secure the bottle, the girl spit in the face of one of the Officers. She was arrested and charged with Assault Police, intoxicated in a public place, and "being under 19 years of age consume liquor?. She will appear in Youth Court in April.
