Break and Enter – Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 5:55 am on May 12, 2014 police were called to a Wilson Avenue business to investigate a report of a break and enter that occurred overnight. Video surveillance equipment revealed that a male suspect had entered the building at approximately 3:15 am and had stolen a Mac computer valued at approximately $2400. The investigation is continuing and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

Break and Enter – Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 8:37 am on May 12, 2014 police were called to a Dundas Street East business to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 11:20 pm and 8:30 am the building was entered through a side door and window. Three bottles of alcohol were reported stolen. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

Mischief – Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 6:18 pm on May 12, 2014 police were called to a Victoria Avenue address to investigate a report of a male suspect who had smashed a window of a parked vehicle then fled from the area on foot. A description of the male was passed to officers by a witness and the suspect was located hiding nearby. He was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service. Cory Maxwell, 34, of Belleville faces charges of Mischief Under $5000 and Breach of Recognizance. He was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of June 12, 2014.
