Disturbance Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 8:40 am on November 12, 2013 officers responded to a disturbance call at a Hickory Grove residence. Upon arrival they found that two residents had been in an argument and one had threatened to burn the house down. A suspect was arrested at the scene and transported to the Belleville Police Service. A 22 year old Belleville man faces a charge of Uttering Threats. He has been held for a bail hearing on November 13, 2013.

Missing Person Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 7:00 pm on November 12, 2013 police were called to a Wallbridge Crescent residence to investigate a report of a missing person. Roger Pennell, aged 61, was last seen by his family in Belleville on Friday November 8th at approximately 7:30 am. He is described as being 5'11 tall, 209lbs with blue eyes, grey hair and a goatee. He was wearing a black jacket with a grey stripe down the sleeve, a blue and grey t-shirt, and blue jeans. He had brown shoes on and was wearing black gloves with a design featuring the bones of the hand on the top printed in white. Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Mr. Pennell is asked to call the Belleville Police Service at 613-966-0882.
