Disturbance Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 3:05 pm on October 12, 2013 officers responded to a disturbance call at a Bridge Street West residence. The investigation revealed that a male suspect at that location had been out of control and had damaged a bedroom and bathroom. He was arrested at the scene and transported to the Belleville Police Service. A 31 year old Belleville man faces charges of Mischief Under $5000 and Breach of Probation. He has been held for a bail hearing on October 15, 2013.

Impaired Driving Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 12:47 am on October 13, 2013 an officer on routine patrol noticed a vehicle travelling at excessive speed westbound on College Street West near the Sidney Street intersection. The vehicle was stopped nearby and the driver was found to have consumed alcohol. He was arrested for Impaired Driving and transported to the Stirling-Rawdon Police Service who assisted the Belleville Police by providing a Breathalyzer Technician. The male suspect was later brought back to the Belleville Police Service and released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of November 17, 2013. Karma Gompo, aged 47, of Beleville faces charges of Impaired Driving and Refusing to Provide a Breath Sample.
