Warrants – Belleville, Ontario


 At approximately 5:53 pm on September 12, 2014 officers found that a male who had attended the front counter of the Belleville Police Service on an unrelated matter had outstanding warrants for his arrest. The 25 year old Belleville man was apprehended on the strength of the Belleville Police Service warrant for two counts of Breach of Probation and was walked into the cells. He was held for a bail hearing on Monday September 15, 2014.


Over 80 MG – Belleville, Ontario


 At approximately 10:00 pm on September 12, 2014 police responded to a report from a motorist of an erratic driver in the area of Sidney Street at Bridge Street West. Officers located the vehicle and stopped it as it pulled into a parking lot on Bridge Street. The driver had been consuming alcohol and registered a "fail” reading on a roadside test. He was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his blood and was subsequently transported to a police facility where he failed a Breathalyzer test. Andrew Murray, 28, of Belleville was charged with one count of Over 80MG. He was later released on a Promise To Appear with a court date of October 2, 2014.
