The Belleville Police responded to 72 calls for service between the 13th of November 2019 at 0500 hrs and the 14th of November 2019 at 0500 hrs.


Belleville ON -  On the 10th of November 2019, police received a report of a theft from a vehicle. The victim reports that he had his vehicle parked at an address on Heartwood. Sometime between the 9th of November 2019 at 0600 hrs. and the 10th of November 2019 at 1200 hrs., an unknown suspect entered his car. The person removed a pair of sunglasses, a Garmin GPS, and a set of anti-theft lug nuts. The value of the loss was approx. 400 dollars.


Belleville ON - On the 13th of November 2019 at 1533 hrs, police attended a business on Bell Blvd with regard to a shoplifter. Upon arrival, police spoke to the loss prevention officer. He provided video of a theft that had occurred. The video shows a female leaving the store with approx. one hundred dollars’ worth of merchandise. A 26 year-old Belleville resident has been identified and charges are pending once the suspect is located.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville ON - On the 13th of November 2019, officers responded to a collision at the intersection of Harmony Rd and River Rd. A vehicle travelling north bound on River Rd. failed to stop at the stop sign. The north bound vehicle struck a vehicle travelling east bound on Harmony Rd. A male in his 30's was transported to Belleville General by ambulance with what are believed to be minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing. The roads were slippery and snow covered at the time of the accident.
