Belleville, Ontario – At 11:20 a.m. police attended an east end grocery store with regards to a 31 year old female shoplifter. After police investigated the Belleville resident was released on a provincial offence notice for engaging in a prohibited activity on private property.


Unwanted Rail Rider


Belleville, Ontario – At 4:30 p.m. police were called by Via Rail to assist with the removal of a 26 year old female passenger. Rail employee’s reported that she and her dog that she claimed was a service dog were being disruptive. Via placed her in a taxi to be transported to Kingston where she was to take another train to Montreal. No charges were leveled against the passenger.


Public Intoxiction


Belleville, Ontario – On the 14th of April at 2:30 a.m. Police were called to a disturbance in the area of a north end licensed establishment. During the course of dispersing the involved parties, police arrested a 21 year old Belleville male for public intoxication. He was held until morning when he was released on a provincial offence notice. No serious injuries were reported as a result of the initial disturbance.
