Belleville, Ontario – On December 13th, 2013 police responded to 7 accidents across the City. Six of the accidents were minor in nature with no injuries.
At 4:48 p.m. police attended on N.Front St. at Earl St. in relation to a two-car accident. A northbound car was stopped on N. Front St. signaling a left turn onto Earl St. when it was struck from behind. The driver of the stopped vehicle was taken to Quinte Health care and treated for minor injuries. A Kingston man was charged with careless driving.
Belleville, Ontario –On December 13th, 2013, at 10:15 p.m. multiple calls were received about an intoxicated male in the hallway of an apartment building on Haig Road. A 35 year old Tweed man was arrested for public intoxication.
On December 14th, 2013, at 1:05 a.m. police responded to a disturbance on Bell Blvd. A 19 year old Frankford woman was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
On December 14th, 2013, at 1:50 a.m. police attended on N. Front St. in relation to an intoxicated woman. A 23 year old Bloomfield woman was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
On December 14th, 2013, at 3:40 a.m. police responded to a disturbance on Tracey Park Drive. A 31 year old Belleville woman was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
Fraud – phone clone
Belleville, Ontario –On December 13th, 2013, at 9:00 p.m. an individual responded to an ad through Kijiji. The ad listed a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone for sale. The parties met at a coffee shop in Belleville where the transaction occurred. The buyer later realized that the phone was missing many of the applications. The phone was confirmed as being a fake.
The seller is described as white male, mid 20's and heavy set. He went by the name of "Gannon”. He was driving a grey Dodge Charger with "aftermarket” clear taillights.
