Cruiser struck.
On 13 July at 7:20pm, a marked police cruiser was rear ended on Sidney Street. The cruiser was heavily damaged; however, there were no injuries. A 39-year-old female from Northbrook was charged with careless driving.
3-day license suspensions
On 13 July at 7:30pm, police stopped a vehicle on Bleeker Ave believing that the driver had been drinking. As a result, a 53-year old male was issued a 3-day license suspension, and his vehicle was towed.
Similarly, on 14 July at 1:20am and driver was stopped at Dundas Street East and Haig Road as police suspected the driver to be drinking. A 27-year old male was charged with driving without a license and issued a 3-day suspension.
Intoxicated disturbance
Police were called to a Sidney Street address at 10:20pm, regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, police were met by an intoxicated male attempting to fight with people in the neighbourhood. As a result, a 34-year old male was arrested for public intoxication
