Assault ? Bodily Harm

Belleville, Ontario ? On March 11, 2011 at approximately 10:00 p.m., police were dispatched to a disturbance at an east hill residence. Further investigation revealed two males in the home became involved in a dispute which lead to an assault by one of the males. A 37 year old Belleville male was arrested and charged with one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm. He is being held for a Bail Hearing scheduled for March 14, 2011.

Break and Enters(s)

Belleville, Ontario ? Belleville police responded to four Break & Enters over the weekend. On March 12, 2011 at 4:50 a.m. police responded to an alarm at a Newberry Street business. The north side of the building was breached and a south door was also found to be open. Although entry was gained nothing was reported to have been taken.

On March 13th at 8:00 p.m. a homeowner on Dundas St West arrived home to find her resident was entered. Entry was gained through a rear window and an Acer Laptop was taken. The theft occurred between 10:00a.m. and 8:00 p.m. this date.

On March 14th at 12:25 a.m. police responded to an alarm at a College Street East business. Suspects broke into the business by forcing an office door. It is unknown at this time what was taken from the business.

On March 14th at 12:46 a.m. police responded to an alarm at a Dundas Street East restaurant. Further investigation revealed suspects attempted to pry a door of the business however after this attempt failed suspects gained entry by smashing a window. Several bottles of liquor were taken as a result of this Break & Enter.

All of these Break & Enters are currently under investigation.

Mischief to Property

Belleville, Ontario ? On March 13, 2011 at approximately 4:15 a.m., police responded to a person vandalizing vehicles at an east hill residence. On arrival police found a female standing on the street holding an adjustable wrench. Witnesses at the scene report this same female smashed the back windows of two vehicles parked at this address.

Julia ADOLFSEN, 42 years old from the City of Toronto was arrested and charged with two counts of Mischief. She was later released on a Promise to Appear with a court date scheduled in April 2011
