Belleville, Ontario ? On 13 May, 2010 at 9:10 p.m., police attended at a residence on Yeoman Street in response to a break and enter. The resident reported that sometime between noon and 9:15 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the residence via a window and stole electronics. This investigation is ongoing.
Disturb the Peace
Belleville, Ontario ? On 13 May, 2010 at 10:42 a.m., police were providing courtroom security at 15 Victoria Avenue. It is alledged that a male was using a recording device within the courtroom. This male refused to turn over the recording device and leave the courtroom. This male was arrested and charged with one count of Obstruct Peace Officer and one count of Resist Arrest. This male will appear in Provincial Court on 14 May, 2010 for a bail hearing. The identity of this male is not being released as he has failed to identify himself.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 13 May, 2010 at 9:29 p.m., police attended at a residence on George Street in response to a complaint of mischief. The victim reported that earlier in the evening while driving his/her vehicle the left rear tire fell off. Examination of this vehicle revealed that the tire that fell off was as a result of loose lug nuts and two other tires on this car had loosened lug nuts as well. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident. This investigation is ongoing.
