2014 Belleville Law Enforcement Torch Run

        

Belleville (Belleville, Ontario) The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is pleased to announce the 2014 leg of the run will take place on this Friday, May 14th.  The run will leave the Quinte Mall at approximately 1000hrs and make its way down North Front Street to the Market Square.

 

The Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Belleville Police Service are proud to continue their partnership that will bring together local Officers and Local Special Olympic Athletes in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics programs across Ontario.

 

All funds that are raised through Torch Run events support community-based Special Olympics Ontario activities. It assists community programs with a variety of expenses including travel to games, accommodations, meals, staff support, grants to new community programs, athlete training, public education, volunteer/coach training and development initiatives like school programs.
