The Belleville Police responded to 52 calls for service between 13 May 2019 at 5:00am and 14 May 2019 at 5:00am.

Tires slashed

Belleville, ON- On 13 May 2019, at 7:35am, police responded to Pine Street regarding a vehicle with three tires slashed. Police received two other calls, one on Pine Street and one on Golfdale Rd, shortly after where tires were slashed on other vehicles. The incidents occurred sometime overnight on 12 May. Arrest in theft investigation

Belleville, ON- On 13 May 2019, at 8:30pm, police located a male on Moira Street who was a suspect in a theft from a west end business on 24 April. The male was arrested and later released on a promise to appear. Trevor Cox, 30, of Belleville will appear in court on 6 June.

 

Impaired driving arrest

Belleville ON- On 13 May 2019, at 11:00pm, police stopped a vehicle on College Street West driving without its headlights on. Police spoke with the driver, who smelled of alcohol, and had him provide a breath sample. The male failed the breath test and was subsequently arrested and charged with operation of a vehicle with over 80mgs. Jeremy Weber, 43, of Belleville will appear in court on 30 May.
