Assault

Belleville, Ontario ? On 13 November, 2011 at 2:39 a.m., police attended at a residence on George Street in response to a complaint of a noise complaint. The noise complaint was unfounded and further investigation revealed that the George Street resident was the victim of an assault that had previously taken place in a residence on Bridge Street East. As a result of this investigation a 22 year old Belleville male has been charged with one count of Assault and is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 19 December, 2011.

Break and Enter(s)

Belleville, Ontario ? On 12 November, 2011 at 9:19 a.m., police attended at a residence on Coleman Street in response to a complaint of a break and enter that occurred between 9 November, 2011 and 12 November, 2011. It was reported that unknown person(s) entered to two (2) garages at this location and stole a four wheeler (no descriptors available) and tools.

Belleville, Ontario ? On 13 November, 2011 9:24 p.m., police attended at a residence on Tripp Avenue in response to a complaint of a break and enter that occurred between 11 and 13 November, 2011. It was reported that electronics and personal items were stolen.

These investigations are ongoing.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, Ontario ? On 13 November 2011, at 11:04 p.m., a cyclist was struck by a car on College Street West at Heartwood Drive. The 16 year old cyclist, who was treated and released at the scene for minor injuries, was charged with a Highway Traffic Act of Failing to have a light on a bicycle.

Motor Vehicle Collision ? Fail to Remain

Belleville, Ontario ? On 11 November, 2011 at 6:543 p.m., police attended at Dundas Street West and Avondale Road in response to a complaint a collision involving 2 vehicles. One of the vehicles had fled the collision headed north on Avondale Road.

Investigation led police to the rear parking lot of Dick Ellis arena where the driver of a gray Chevrolet Impala was arrested. Doreen MacDonald (52 years) of Trenton has been charged with Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle, Operation of Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol and Fail to Remain at Scene of Accident.

MacDonald is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 1 December, 2011.
