Disturbance(s)

 

Belleville, Ontario On November 13th, 2014, at 12:51 p.m. police responded to Benjamin Street in relation to a large group of people fighting.  One male adult required medical attention.  This investigation is continuing.

 

On November 13th, 2014, at 6:20 p.m. police responded to a residence on Coleman Street as a male was damaging property with a baseball bat.  The male had smashed out the windows of an unoccupied parked car.  A 24 year old Belleville man was charged with Mischief to property and held for a Bail hearing on November 14th, 2014. No one was injured.

 

On November 13th, 2014, at 9:30 p.m. police attended at a Pinnacle Street residence in relation to a domestic disturbance.  A 33 year old Quinte West man was arrested at the scene.  He was charged with assault and breach of probation.  He will appear in court on November 24th, 2014. The victim suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention.

 

On November 13th, 2014, at 11:30 p.m. police attended on Mineral Road as an intoxicated male refused to leave the residence.  A 44 year old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace. No one was injured.

 

On November 13th, 2014, at 11:45 p.m. police attended at a west end bar in relation to an unruly patron refusing to leave. A 20 year old Belleville man was arrested for failing to leave premises when directed under the Trespass to Property Act.

 

Counterfeit money

 

Belleville, Ontario On November 13th, 2014, police attended at two banks in relation to counterfeit American $50.00 bills.  The bills were received in deposits from local businesses.  The investigations are continuing.
