Belleville Police Service responded to 59 calls for service from the 13th of September 2019 at 5:00 a.m. to the 14th of September at 5:00 a.m.

Liquor License Act

Belleville, Ontario – On the 14th of September 2019 at approximately 1:00 a.m., city police were called to an area in the west end for a report of a suspicious male. Upon arrival, officers located a male passed out on the sidewalk, heavily intoxicated due to the consumption of alcohol. A 34-year-old Belleville man was arrested under the liquor license act for his own safety. He was lodged into cells and later released once deemed to be able to care for himself. He was served a provincial offence notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
