Disturbances

Belleville, Ontario - On April 14th, 2012, at 5:15 a.m., Police attended at a disturbance call at an apartment on Haig Road. It was learned that several people had been assaulted, and that there was a broken window in a baby's bedroom. An 8 month baby was apprehended at this point. The investigation has led to charges being filed against a 22 year old Belleville man who remains at large. An arrest warrant will be sought for this male for two counts of Assault, Threats, Mischief, and two counts of Breach of an Undertaking. The baby remains in care in a foster home.

On April 14th, 2012, at 3:00 p.m., Police attended at a disturbance on Station Street. A 59 year old Belleville man was arrested for public intoxication.

On April 14th, 2012, at 11:15 p.m., Police attended at a disturbance on Hutton Drive. There were 125 people in the street upon Police arrival. An 18 year old Belleville man was arrested for public intoxication. It was revealed that three people were assault victims from separate incidents. All three required medical attention at Quinte Health Care. The assault investigations are ongoing.

On April 15th, 2012, at 2:30 p.m., Police attended at a disturbance on Front Street. The crowd was dispersed.

On April 15th, 2012, at 3:15 p.m., Police attended at a disturbance on North Front Street. This crowd was dispersed.

On April 15th, 2012, at 3:45 p.m., Police attended at a disturbance call on Catharine Street. This crowd was dispersed.
