Belleville, Ontario ? On 14 December, 2010 at 7:45 a.m., police attended at a business on Bridge Street West in response to a robbery complaint. Police learned that a male entered the business brandishing a knife, demanding and robbing the lone employee of money. The male then left the business on foot in a southern direction. Investigation led to information that the male robber was in a taxi that was travelling from the east into Belleville. This vehicle was stopped in the area of Grass Blvd and Highway 2. Nathan Jacobs, 28 years of Belleville has been charged with Robbery, Wearing a Disguise with Intent to commit an Indictable Offence, Carry a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to Comply with an Undertaking. Nathan Jacobs will appear in Provincial Court on 17 December, 2010 for a bail hearing.
