Break and Enter

Belleville, On – On 14 December, 2017 at 6:06 a.m., police attended at a residence on Sidney Street in response to a complaint of a break and enter to a detached garage.  Unknown person(s) forced entry to a detached garage.  This investigation is continuing.

 

Driving Complaint

Belleville, On – On 14 December, 2017 at 4:23 a.m., police attended in the area of Conger Place in response to call about a truck stuck in the snow.  It was reported that the truck was stuck in in the pile of snow left in the middle of the cul-de-sac.  Police attended, located the truck and the 2 occupants of the truck. The occupants of the vehicle were each issued a PON for liquor offences and the owner of the vehicle was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Being an Occupant of a Motor Vehicle knowing there was a Firearm.  The 25 year old Tichbourne male is scheduled to attend court on February 1, 2018.

 

 

RIDE

Belleville, On – On 14 December, 2017 the Belleville Police Service RIDE team stopped 350 vehicles while looking for impaired drivers. There were no incidents investigated in relation to drinking and driving.
