Motor Vehicle Collisions- Belleville, Ontario

During the past 24 hours Belleville Police Service investigated 9 motor vehicle collisions.

All of the collisions were property damage only.

Fail to remain- Belleville, Ontario

At 8:10Pm Police responded to a fail to remain collision at Everett Street and Catherine St. involving 2 vehicles. One of the vehicles failed to remain at the scene and fled. Later that evening the driver attended Belleville Police Service. A 17yr old male from Marmora is charged with disobey stop sign and failing to report a collision under the Highway Traffic Act. No one was injured in the collision.  

Domestic Disturbance- Belleville, Ontario

On the 14th of February 2015 at 9:18Pm, Belleville Police Service received a call for a domestic disturbance call at a Tracey Park Street address. Investigation revealed of a physical altercation took place resulting in a minor assault and property damage. A 33 yr. old male from Belleville is charged with 2 counts of assault, mischief to property and uttering threats. He is being held in custody for a bail hearing on the 17th of February 2015.
