Robbery

 

On the 14th of February 2018 shortly before 1:00 p.m. city police responded to a robbery in the parking lot of the Bayview Mall in Belleville’s east end. A 15 year old female reported that while she was walking through the parking lot on the west side of the plaza she was approached by a male who brandished a knife and demanded her belongings. The male fled with the victim’s purse and headphones. The male is described as being in his late teens, white, approximately 5’7” in height, thin build with dirty blonde hair and a chinstrap style beard. He was wearing a black ball cap with a red flat brim, a red lumberjack style plaid zip up coat, washed out blue jeans with a white belt, red shoes with red laces and wearing a silver ring on one of his pinky fingers. He fled the scene and met up with a second male on Karl St. Both males were last seen running westbound towards Herchimer Ave. Anyone with any information on the suspect is encouraged to call Constable Josh Woodcock at Belleville Police or Quinte Crime-stoppers.

 

Robbery

 

On the 14th of February 2018 shortly before 9 p.m. city police responded to a hold-up alarm at Mister Convenience on Dundas Street East at Haig Road. The 58 year old male store clerk was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash at knife-point. The suspect who was last seen running north from the store is described as male, 5’8 wearing dark pants and dark jacket with some type of covering over his lower face. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Dan Hounslow at Belleville Police or Quinte Crime-stoppers.
