Break & Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? On July 15, 2011 at 5:20 a.m. police responded to an alarm at a business on Victoria Ave. On arrival police found the business had been entered. Entry was gained by suspects going through the roof of the business and exiting by smashing a front window.

Witnesses in the area at the time saw a male fleeing from the store last seen travelling east bound on a bicycle. The suspect was a male, in his 20's, tall with thin build, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

It is unknown at this time what was taken as a result of this Break & Enter. This incident is currently under investigation and police are requesting if anyone should have any information which would assist in identifying this suspect to please call police at 613 966 0882.

Mischief(s)

Belleville, Ontario ? On July 14, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. police responded to a disturbance at an east end address. Further investigation revealed two females became involved in a dispute and as a result one of the females caused damage to the victim's car. Police arrested and charged Lacy GAGNE, 25 years old from the City of Belleville with one count of Mischief. Gagne was later released with a court date in August 2011.

In a second occurrence police responded to a report of an assault at a business in Thurlow on July 14th at 10:10 p.m. Further investigation resulted in two males being charged with Mischief to Property. Brad PARKS, 29 years old from the City of Belleville, was charged with once count of Mischief and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Parks will appear in court on August 2011. Michael MARTIN 30 years old from the City of Belleville was charged with one count of Mischief and will appear in court in August 2011.

Weapons

Belleville, Ontario ? On July 14, 2011 at 11:15 p.m., police received a complaint persons going through a vehicle in the east end of Belleville. While investigating this incident police checked a male in the area. This male was found to be in possession of a large serrated kitchen knife. Calvin MARCIPONT, 19 years old from the City of Belleville was charged with one count of Weapons Dangerous. He was later released with a court date scheduled in August 2011.
