The Belleville Police responded to 61 calls for service between 14 May 2019 at 5:00am and 15 May 2019 at 5:00am.


Belleville, ON - On May 14th 2019, at 8:40pm, a 32 year old Belleville woman Cynthia Newnham attended the Belleville Police Service to turn herself in on outstanding warrants for 1 count - possession of stolen property and 1 count - fail to appear for court. The accused was released and will appear in Belleville court on June 13th.

Impaired Driving

Belleville, ON – On May 14th, 2019 at 10:50pm a concerned citizen advised police about a vehicle being driving erratically on Cannifton Road. Police located the vehicle minutes later on Station and Oak Street and a 35 year old Quinte West man was arrested for impaired driving. The accused would later refuse to provide a breath sample and was charged with 1 count of failing to provide a breath sample. The accused was later released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in Belleville court on court date on June 6th.
