Attempted Fraud
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 15, 2009, police received a report of an attempted Fraud at Bell Blvd store. The store is reporting that two different females have attempted to use the same identification with the same credit card to make three separate purchases between the 14th of October to this date. Both suspects are identified as Asian female. This incident is currently under investigation.
Mischief(s)
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 15, 2009, police responded to 5 reports of Mischief to property. A Tracey St woman reported a male acquaintance punched a hole in the wall of her home after a disagreement. An Alexander St car owner reported someone smashed the rear window out of her vehicle sometime over night. A Pine St woman also reported the rear window of her vehicle was smashed over night. A vehicle owner reported his vehicle was damaged while parked in the lot of his work place in the north east end of Belleville, and in another incident a driver of a motor vehicle was driving over the Norris Whitney bridge where he reported someone shot at his car with a pellet gun. This incident was reported at 9:30 p.m. The damage to the vehicle consisted of one small pellet hole. This incident is still under investigation.
Stolen Vehicle Recovered
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 15, 2009, police recovered a vehicle that had been reported stolen on September 13th. On September 13, 2009 police investigated a Break & Enter and theft of motor vehicle from a Vermilyea Road business. The vehicle was recovered abandoned on October 15th at 12:27 p.m., at a Moira Street West apartment building parking lot. The vehicle is a 1997, green, Chev, Pick up with plate number 5336HL.
Stolen Trailer and Plate
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 15, 2009, at 11:39 a.m., police investigated a report of a stolen trailer. The 18 ft trailer was taken from 62 Highway address. The trailer plate number is B3801W.
