Break and Enter(s)

Belleville, Ontario ? On 14 September, 2011 between 9:32 a.m. and 8:12 p.m., police attended at residences on Manley Road and Catharine Streets in response to complaints of break and enters.

The Manley Road resident reported that unknown person(s) entered an unlocked garage overnight and stole Schwinn Electric bike.

The Catharine Street resident reported that between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., unknown person(s) forced entry and ransacked the residence.

Belleville, Ontario ? On 14 September, 2011 at 9:32 a.m., police attended at a business on Meyers Pier in response to a report of an overnight break and enter. It was reported that the culprits stole cash and electronics.

These investigations are ongoing and anyone with any information in relation to these occurrences is asked to call Belleville Police Service at 613 966-0882 or Crime Stoppers at 613 969-8477.

Assault/ Breach of Probation

Belleville, Ontario ? On 14 September, 2011 at 6:55 p.m., police attended at a residence on Tracey Park Drive in response to a complaint of a disturbance. This disturbance was reported to have started at Bell Blvd and Sidney Street and witnesses followed the involved parties to a residence on Tracey Park Drive. The disturbance involved one adult male and one adult female. There were no injuries reported.

Investigation of this complaint resulted in a 30 year old Belleville male being arrested for one count of Assault and one count of Breach of Probation. This male will appear in Provincial Court on 15 September, 2011 for a bail hearing at 1:00 p.m...

Mischief

Belleville, Ontario ? On 15 September, 2011 at 2:12 a.m., police attended at a business on Front Street, in response to an intrusion alarm. Police observed the front window to have been shattered. Police searched the area around the business and located a male with laceration type injuries. Investigation of this resulted in the arrest of this male for Mischief (under $5000.00). The male was taken to BGH where he was treated for non life threatening injuries. Further investigation has resulted in the 3 subsequent charges of Breach of Probation.

This 19 year old Belleville man will appear in Provincial Court on 15 September, 2011 for a bail hearing at 1:00 p.m...
