Suspicious Incident- Belleville, Ontario

Belleville Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch is investigating 3 incidents over the past 3 months where a male approaches young women or preteen girls asking them if they need a ride or help being walked to school.  The male has been reported to drive a white or cream coloured four door mid-sized vehicle, possibly with tinted windows. 

There was an incident in the area of Moira and Yeoman Streets on September 11th around 8:30am where a young girl was asked by the suspicious male if she wanted a walk to school.  Another similar type incident took place on Hillcrest Ave on August 4th around 4:00pm.  

The male is described as approximately 5’8”-5’11” early to mid-20’s in age, usually wearing dark track pants or pants and a hoodie.

Police are reminding the public to contact police immediately when they observe suspicious behaviour or activities.
