The Belleville Police Service responded to 65 calls for service between September 14th, 2017 at 5:00 a.m. and September 15th, 2017 at 5:00 a.m. These calls included: two calls of missing children that were found in short order, a number of minor domestic disputes, neighbor disputes and calls to assist agencies including Pathways and Belleville General Hospital for persons who were out of control, No charges were laid in any of these incidents.



Belleville, Ontario; The Belleville Police Service responded to six motor vehicle collisions in the city.

  • Two Collisions on Bell Blvd resulting in property damage only

  • Once collision on Dundas Street East involving property damage only

  • One Collision on Old Hwy 2 at Old Kingston Rd resulting in minor injuries

  • One Collision on Wallbridge-Loyalist Rd resulting in minor injuires

  • One Collision on North Front Street at Tracey Street resulting in minor injuries


    All of the collisions were avoidable. Please ensure you are 100 percent focused on your driving. It only takes a moments inattention to cause a collision


    Traffic Enforcement

    Belleville Ontario; Belleville Police were busy conducting traffic enforcement throughout the city on Wednesday. A 52 year old Belleville man was charged with Stunt Driving after being observed on Wallbridge-Loyalist Rd. The man’s license was suspended for 7 days and his vehicle was also Impounded for 7 days.


    The Traffic Safety Unit conducted a short speed enforcement blitz on Airport Pkwy in the afternoon of September 14. In a 30 minute span 11 tickets were issued for speeding as high as 47 km’s over the posted speed limit. One driver was also found to be a suspended driver.



    Belleville Ontario; At approx. 0218 am officers were called to a North Front Street establishment for an unruly patron. As a result a 38 year old Kingston man was arrested under the Liquor License Act for public intoxication
