Break and Enter- Residential

Belleville, Ont.- On the 15th of February 2017 at approximately 9am Belleville Police received a call of a residential break and enter on Bronk Road. The investigation revealed that sometime between the 12th and 15th of February, unknown person(s) forced a door of the residence. Once inside the suspect(s) caused extensive damage. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Quinte Crime Stoppers or Belleville Police.

Drug Trafficking Arrest

Belleville- Ont- On the 15th of February 2017 at 2:30Pm officers on patrol observed 2 males walking in the area of Coleman Street and Harriett Streets. Officers believed one of the males was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Officers observed the males walk for a distance then one of the male discarded a backpack. Officers approached the males and investigated. Officers located the backpack and found in excess of 300 grams of marijuana, scales and other drug related items. A 20yr old male from Belleville is charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation. He was released on a Promise to Appear with a March court date.
