Break and Enter
Belleville, Ontario ? On 15 June, 2011 at 7:35 a.m., police attended at a residence on Bridge Street East, Belleville in response to a report of a break and enter that occurred between 5:30 p.m. on 14 June and 7:30 a.m. on 15 June. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry through a rear door and stole jewelry. This investigation is ongoing.

Personal Injury in Motor Vehicle Collision
Belleville, Ontario ? On 15 June, 2011 at approximately 1935 hours police responded to 1 North Front Street for a report of acyclist who had been struck by a vehicle. The cyclist was pedaling south on North Front Street and observed a green Geo Tracker in the south bound lane as well. The right front corner of the Geo clipped the rear tire of the bicycle. This caused the cyclist to fall to the ground.

The vehicle is described as metallic green Geo Tracker with a spare tire mounted to the rear of vehicle with the letters "GEO? below the tire. The alpha portion of the Ontario license is similar to "BJMJ?. The vehicle was occupied by 2 younger looking males. There were no serious injuries reported at the time of the investigation.

Please find included photos (of a vehicle matching the description from the collision) obtained from the downtown closed circuit television system that may assist in identifying the vehicle and driver.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating the vehicle and driver that were involved in this collision. Members of the public with information are asked to call Constable Ashley at 613 966 0882 ext 4158 or Crime Stoppers at 613 969 8477.
