Impaired Driver

 

Belleville, Ontario – On June 16th, 2014, at 12:05 a.m. an officer stopped a speeding motorist on North front Street.  It was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested for impaired driving.  During the arrest, a male passenger from the vehicle started to interfere with the investigation. This male was arrested for public intoxication.  The driver, a 35 year old Belleville man, will appear in court on July 3rd, 2014 on charges over impaired driving and over 80 mgs.  The passenger, a 35 year old Belleville man, was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

 

 

Disturbance(s)

 

Belleville, Ontario –On June 16th, 2014 at 1:00 a.m. multiple calls were received about two males fighting outside McDonald’s on North Front Street. The investigation revealed that the two were "best friends”. A 19 year old Prince Edward County man was arrested for public intoxication. The second male was taken to hospital by EMS for minor repairs.  Once at the hospital, the second male became combative and refused medical treatment. Officers attended at the hospital and arrested a 19 year old Prince Edward County man for public intoxication.

 

On June 16th, 2014 at 3:00 a.m. police attended on Front St. in relation to a disturbance. A 33 year old Trenton woman was arrested for public intoxication. No one was injured.
