Domestic Assault- Arrest

Belleville, Ontario- On the 14^th of May 2016 at approximately 9:50Pm Police responded to the complaint of domestic disturbance in the west end of the city. Investigation revealed that a male party had assaulted and threatened a female victim. A 47yr old male from Belleville is being held for a bail hearing at Belleville Provincial Court on the 16^th of May 2016 on charges of assault and uttering death threats. The victim did not need medical attention in this matter.
