Motor vehicle collisions

Belleville, Ontario – On November 15th, 2018, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., police investigated six motor vehicle collisions.

 

At 6:08 p.m. officers attended on Dundas Street East at Front Street regarding a two-car collision. One driver was charged with careless driving. There were no injuries.

 

At 6:32 p.m. officers attended on West Moira Street at Avonlough Road regarding a van in the ditch. A towtruck was required to remove the van from the ditch. There were no injuries; nor were there any charges.

 

At 6:41 p.m. officers attended on Ashley Street in Foxboro as an SUV had flipped onto its side. The driver was not injured. A towtruck was required to tow the vehicle. There were no charges.

 

At 7:01 p.m. officers attended at the intersection of North Front Street and College Street in relation to a two-car accident. Both cars were heavily damaged and two towtrucks were required to clear the intersection. The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival. There were no injuries and the investigation is continuing.

 

At 7:46 p.m. officers attended at the intersection of Bell Blvd and Cannifton Road in relation to a two-car collision. There was minor damage and no one was injured.

 

At 8:03 p.m. officers attended on South Front Street in relation to a single-vehicle collision. A car had lost control and struck a curb. A towtruck was required to tow the vehicle. There were no injuries; nor were there any charges.
