Belleville, Ont. ? On October 16, 2009, a Coleman Street female was arrested and charged with Breach of an Undertaking. On September 26, 2009, a 31 year old female was arrested for Assault with a Weapon and released with conditions to report to the Belleville Police Service. On this date the female reported to police however further investigation revealed she had missed reporting on previous dates. She was arrested and charged with two counts of Breach of Undertaking and released on a Promise to Appear with a November court date.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 16, 2009, Belleville Police received a complaint of an Attempt Fraud. The victim reported she had received an email from a female. The female stated she was on vacation in England and had run into some sort of trouble and needed $3500. dollars sent to her through Western Union in order to assist her. The victim recognized the name of the female within the email however did not believe her to be the same person she knew. The victim did not send the money. This appears to be a continuation of an ongoing Fraud that has been reported through the internet by a number of citizens.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 16, 2009, at approximately 8:00 p.m., police were called to the area of Progress Ave regarding a male acting suspiciously. A male described as having a shaved head, wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans was seen jumping fences in yards, peeping in windows and moving property located on the decks of residences. Various neighbours in the area were spoken to and confirm they had seen this male. He was last seen walking north in the area. This incident is still under investigation.
