The Belleville Police Service responded to 48 calls for service between September 15th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and September 16th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Domestic Dispute results in charges

Belleville, Ontario – On the 16th of September 2019 at 12:30 a.m., police responded to the area of College Street East for a domestic dispute. Officers attended the scene where an investigation ensued resulting in a 30 year-old Belleville man being arrested for assault. The male was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date on September 30th, 2019 to face the charges.

Belleville, ON – Police report a fairly quiet night on Sunday night into Monday morning having attended to domestic disputes, neighbour and family disputes, traffic complaints, and harassment issues. The peace was preserved throughout the City.
