Theft Over
Belleville, Ontario ? On 16 August, 2010 at 7:20 a.m. police responded to a traffic complaint on Front Street. Police observed an improperly parked and insecure vehicle abandon on Front Street. At 8:11 a.m. police were notified by the registered owner that this car was missing. Investigation of this incident led to the arrest of a 35 year old Belleville man. Gary Nugent has been charged with one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Theft Over $5000.00 and Breach of Probation and will appear in Provincial court on 30 September, 2010.

Break and Enter(s)
Belleville, Ontario ? On 16 August, 2010, police responded to 5 break and enter complaints. One business in the 200 block of North Front Street was entered overnight with the thieves stealing money and alcohol. A second business from Front Street was entered sometime over the weekend with money being stolen. A third business from Wilson Avenue was entered sometime between 13 August 2010 at 6:00 p.m. and 16 August, 2010 at 1:27 p.m... The culprits caused damage to the interior and stole business documents.
Police attended at a residence on Pepper Avenue in response to a complaint of a break and enter that is believed to have occurred sometime between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on 16 August, 2010. The culprits stole electronics and money.
At 4:42 p.m., police attended at a residence on MacDonald Ave in response to a complaint of a break and enter to a shed sometime between 14 August, 2010, 4:00 p.m., and 16 August, 2010 at 4:00 p.m., where the thieves stole a weed eater.
These investigations are ongoing.
