Police Pursuit

Shortly after 8am on 16 August 2017 an officer on patrol attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Harriett Street. The vehicle failed to stop for the officer. Police discontinued the attempt to stop the vehicle for public safety reasons. The vehicle was located a short time later by officers and is believed to be stolen. The Investigation is continuing.

Break and Enters

 A break and enter was reported to Belleville Police in the early morning of 16 August of a business on Front Street. An undisclosed amount of money as well as IPads were taken. The investigation is continuing.

A second Break and Enter was reported to police at a business on North Front Street sometime over night of August 15-16. An undisclosed  amount of cash was taken. The investigation is continuing

Attempts weremade to break into two other businesses on Front Street and North Front Street.
