On 16 February 2012, members of the Belleville Police Service and members of Project Longarm executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in the West end of Belleville. As a result two Belleville residents were arrested and taken in to police custody.

Police seized a large quantity of prescription pills (Morphine) with a conservative street value of $ 50,000.00. A quantity of cash (both Canadian and US denominations) was seized along with offence related property.

Maurice Mc Donald (65 years) and Audrey Harvey (66 years) both of Belleville; have each been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. Harvey and Mc Donald are scheduled to appear in Provincial court on the 22 March 2012. The investigation is ongoing.
