Disturbance Call Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 12:22 am on January 17, 2014 officers were dispatched to the rear of the stores on Front Street to investigate a report of a male causing a disturbance. Upon arrival they located the suspect who was found to be intoxicated and took him into custody. The investigation revealed that he was already before the courts on criminal charges and had been released on numerous conditions including one that he not consume alcohol. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service and will be held for a Bail Hearing later in the day. The accused, a 19 year old Belleville man has been charged with a single count of Breach of Recognizance.
