Disturbance – Pepper Spray Assault  – Belleville, Ontario

 At approximately 6:30 pm on 16 July 2014 police were called to the area of Bridge Street West and Everett Street for a report of a fight involving several persons and the use of pepper spray. A 25 year old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with assaulting a 35 year old Belleville man. Injuries were minimal. The Accused was held overnight to appear in Bail Court on 17 July 2014.

 At approximately 10:36pm on 16 July 2014 police were called to a large disturbance with several male persons fighting near the foot bridge at the rear of Front Street. One male was treated on scene by EMS for minor injuries. There were no charges laid or arrests.

At approximately 2:32am on 17 July 2014 police were called to a report of 2 males fighting in the area of North Front Street and Bell Blvd. A 28 year old man from British Columbia was arrested and held overnight charged with Public Intoxication.  No injuries.

Wanted Subject arrested – Belleville, Ontario

Police had sought the Public’s assistance on 16 July 2014 in attempting to locate 33 year old Christopher Lloyd McDonald of no fixed address, he was charged with failing to comply with his conditions and his surety was revoked under the Criminal Code. He was arrested without further incident the evening of 16 July 2014 and remains in custody to appear at Bail Court on 17 July 2014. Police thank the public for their assistance.
