Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle(s)
Belleville, Ontario ? On 16 June, 2010 at 4:20 p.m., police attended at Pinnacle and Moira Streets in response to a collision which involved a school bus (which did not have any students on board) and a van.
Investigation of this collision revealed that there were no injuries and minor damage was reported to the vehicles.
It is alleged that the driver of van had been operating his vehicle after consuming in excess of the legal limit of alcohol.
Roger Spice (60 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count of Operation of Motor Vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol. Spice will appear in Provincial Court on 22 July, 2010.
Belleville, Ontario ? On 17 June, 2010 at 2:26 a.m., police were travelling south on North Front conducting general patrol duties when a black Volkswagen was observed driving at a high rate of speed. This vehicle was eventually stopped on Bell Blvd near Sidney Street.
Further investigation of this incident, led to the driver being charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operation of Motor Vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol.
Kirk Parker (24 years) of Port Hope will appear in Provincial Court on 15 July, 2010.
