Motor vehicle collision

 

Belleville – A three vehicle motor collision stalled traffic at Bridge and Pinnacle Streets shortly after 6:00 P.M. on the 16th of June for about an hour. A westbound vehicle on Bridge St. collided with a southbound vehicle on Pinnacle St. within the intersection; they then collided with a vehicle which was stopped in the eastbound lane of Bridge St.   Police determined through witnesses that the southbound vehicle entered the intersection against the red light and the driver was subsequently charged with disobeying a red light. There were no injuries reported at the time of the accident.

 

Belleville – On the 16th of June, shortly after 11:30 P.M. police responded to a parking lot in the area of Belleville’s waterfront with regards to a report of a female driver who had driven over some curb stones and was believed to have been drinking. Shortly after police arrived, they arrested a Belleville resident for impaired driving. 63 year old Robbin Wilson was taken to The Belleville Police Service to further the investigation by obtaining samples of her breath to determine the blood alcohol concentration. Wilson was later released on a promise to appear on charges of impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit. She was given a July court date to answer to the charges.
